hotpoint aquarius WD440 washer dryer not controling?
hello Ozone. thank you so much for all the help.I cant get to try out what you suggested till saturday as working till then. Its a mates machine so have to travel to look at it. What you suggested about wiring being broken at stat sounds like a solution. It fits in with snag. I really believe it might be answer to problem. heater element is in circuit for opperation of machine so shorted feed and return together to allow operation as normal once heating is not selected. Of course i wont buy heater element unless i am sure its not the pcb.Thank you so much for all your help and might i say wisdom.Will let you know outcome on sat.Reguards.Martin.
