hello julia,iam wondering why you had to perform a defrost on that model as it is a frostfree version.there are several sensors in your fridge.to maintain that equilibrium that model needs a 3 day defrost before you can boot it up.samsung are aware of the sensor issues with that model,so they extended the warrenty to 5 years.if the appliance is not dropping below around 16c then the thermostat sensor is most likely the problem.cost around £12.00,.if you did not perform a 3 day defrost then it may take up to six hours for the appliance to reach and maintain -3c .
