How can I fix my spin cycle?

my washer works fine untill it's time for spin cycle mode. It seems to slip because you can physicaly hold the Agitator and feel something slipping.

If you can hold it, belt probably worn, a lot do not have tensioners, some do, so open it up and have a look, if motor is fitted at one point with a slot hole, you can adjust, otherwise replace belt
