refrigerators?

Hi,my hotpoint RFA52S fridge/freezer is making rumbling noises and wont cool or freeze. thanks ,

there is no motor or evap fan, fitted to that model (iced diamond).if you can hear the compressor/motor running ,and is very hot to the touch it is likely that the system has lost its charge.a pressure check and maybe a regas in my opinion is not cost effective.the rumbling or gurgling noises can be heard shortly after the compressor/motor has run for a while.this is a sign of a compressor/motor or charge issue.if the compressor/motor cannot be heard running then you can narrow the fault down to total compressor/motor failure, pcb, and pcb start failure.or a dried up 3 uf capacitor.

Check in back, for possible obstruction in compressor cooling fan. Have known all sorts, Mice favorite. If fan blocked, compressor will overheat and close down. NO cooling anywhere.
