Has the ignition gone on my Worcester 280 combi boiler?

It was working fine yesterday, now I have no hot water or heating. When I try to get either, the boiler sounds like it is trying to start, but can't quite get there. The pressure has been dropping very slowly.
I cannot see the pilot light - is there a chance this has gone out? And if so, how do I ignite? I cannot find a button or switch?

if it is trying to start up, ie the fan running, the fan could be sticking, also if it does not spark it could be the sir pressure switch

1bar is ok its when boilers go down to about 0.5 bar they go into lockout mode. but thats nothing to do with your boiler not fireing up. sounds like youv'e a problem with the ignition generator, without seeing you'll need a plumber to check the ignition.

It has gone down to about 1 bar (I think, from memory, when I poped home about an hour ago) It went down slowly over night.

it don't have a pilot light like the old boilers. electronic ignition fires up on demand. what is the pressure reading
