how to solve starting problem, please?

my 2006 mercedes sprinter 308cdi has difficulty starting when the engine is hot. cold start no problem. Replaced fuel injector, glow plugs, serviced fuel pump. changed oil and filters.

leave the glow plugs, on the 611 engine(direct injection), they are for emmisions.
injector leak by is an easy test, and a very common place to loose fuel pressure when cranking, though this is normally a cold start issue.
the fuel rail valve seals give you starting problems all the time.
that leaves the camshaft sensor. these break down when hot. wont start for 20 minutes, once cooled, starts fine. this fault does not leave a fault code!
only other thing might be a lazy starter motor. they can draw too much battery power, starving the cdi control unit of power when cranking.
cam sensor is my bet, easy job.

a friend had a simlar problem what he did in the end was put the glow plugs on a seperate switch / button , this worked but is a pain every time you have to start engine.
