what would i do to my hyundai lantra 1.8gt timing belt getting cut frequently. each time it cuts, it would damage all the sixteen valves and one or two pistons. after getting them fixed, it will still cut

make sure there is no oil on belt and always change tensioner and idler pulley as well.use good qaulity belt.also make sure there are no sharp edges on covers that can damage belt.diffucult to predict why it gets cut without knowing if all pulleys are in line and how repair has been done
