HIya.. My Fisher Paykel GW711 washing machine will not power up. There is no response to any buttons pushed. (No beep) I have checked the wall socket, and there is power there. Also tried plugging into another socket, still nothing. As far as I know, it was working fine (no error beeps on previous loads). Any ideas? Or is it a "call a technician" job ?? (It is Sunday, and I have lots of washing to do... :P)

Sounds like the main control board has failed. Call a service technician. You need to find out why it failed before installing a new one.
