i have a vectra sri 130 on a 2002 and it is over heating and temp is verry high but the fan dosnt cut in when it should it dusnt work at all how can i find out what is causing it to over heat ??? could i be right in thinking it is the temp switch or jammed thermostat witch will cause it to over heat ??? and if so where are they located ??

check your thermostat,usually at engine end of top radiator hose in a housing,dip it in boiling water and see if it opens
