How can I fix/replace my Kaoyi Electronic halogen dimmer?

It's a foot operated slider. Probably died of old age. The only part not working is the LED, fuse and circuit tested OK. Ref KDF-527G3.

you can buy sim dimmer in any electrical store,try b n q some factory fitted dimmers are soldered in place,the replace ment you get will be screwed into place,
