We have just brought a Eldis II caravan but can not get the hot water to work. The unit is a carver cascade 2. We have full running water. When we switch it on it on we get a green light, then a red. Sometimes you can hear it light and go straight out but over it just does nothing apart from click. We have gas comming through to the cooker so know its not the gas. Any one know if there should be another switch apart from the made one we should be switching on? Or know what the problem could be?

Could be air could be gas lack of. I'll assume you have a full tank and the water flows air free from hot taps. If still having problems then enter the following in your search engine box

Check the main gas pipe to each appliance you may find each one Teed off has it's on stop valve so each appliance can be isolated if it developes a leak so allowing other appliances to continue to be used.
Hope this helps. Also if dealer bought and it is faulty check the warranty.
One last thing Truma aquired Carver heater etc
contact them if still faulty.
