main oven will not work because i can't set the time. our dog chewed off the buttons a while ago but i have set it using blunt objects no problem until now, nothing changes on the display. i spilled stock and had to leave unit unplugged for a day to dry out but now i have this problem. burners and small top oven/grill work fine.

` mark` what you are asking mate is dangerous and can compromise the overall safety, and functionability of the appliance,.

Take my advice mate and fit a new timer module,by bypassing the timer you will have a serious issue with the voltages, not to mention the earthing related issues.

bite the bullet and replace the timer,

oh yes don't forget to buy mutly a bone as well,
