Oven Fan won't stop?

The fan on our Baumatic electric oven will not stop unless we turn off at the plug, doe's anybody know the fault & what we need to replace.

Thanks for the advice CK, however fitted a new stat ( £16.21 ) today & the fan still won't stop. Any further suggestions before a new oven is ordered.

follow wiring from cooling fan and you should find cooling fan control stat.normally open until it gets to hot and then closes to make circuit to initiate cooling fan

Thanks CK, the problem is the cooling fan, ? what is an initiation stat, are they cheap & easy to fit.

is it main fan or cooling fan that runs?
Main fan could be switch issue.cooling fan could be initiation stat
