Where are the under seat airbag connectors in a Micra?

Micra 5door 02 Reg: Replaced LH seat belt unit, new unit does not have socket for existing connector. Airbag warning light is flashing; tried reseting using the on/off key method and the interior light door sensor method, neither worked.
Diagnostic code is 13 = 'Seatbelt pretensioner LH'
I have removed pretensioner connector and joined wires togehter, still flashing.
Can't find the 'under seat connectors' that is referred to in many posts for this problem. According to posts they should be under the seat, I have removed both seats and there are no wires under either seat.
I traced loom along inner door sill and across car and there are no connectors there either.
Can someone please tell me where they are?

'k' thanks for your reply. Another question; if connecting pretension wires togehter causes it to short-out and bring light on, does it follow that separating the wires should put light out?
Warning light flashes whether wires are connected or not.
Is there someway of 'fooling' the circuit that all is well?
Do you know the whereabouts of the under-seat-connectors, thanks.

you will need to fit correct seat belt assy with connections for pre-tensioner.usually on other cars, when you disconnect plug, there is a metal piece [built into connector] that connects the 2 pins together, thereby putting light on to show a fault.which is the same as you have done by shorting it out.
