How can I reset the program's for my Bosch Classixx1000?

When i use the washing machine on quick wash, it takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete. It used to take about 25 mins, has anyone any idea's how to fix this problem?

HI, I don't know how to test the element however I have replaced the element with a new one and the water is still cold. Is it time to get a professional in? I could change the thermostat but at this rate I could end up changing bits for the sake of it....any further thoughts? Thanks Pete

Hi Peter yes if there is no electrical continuity through the element but you need to be able to test this with a meter( meter set to resistance should read 25 to 35 ohms) as i mentioned it could be the control unit not turning the element on if the heater is ok . If you cannot test the element you may change it when it is perfectly ok (i dont know your meter testing availabity) Test the element with no wires connected to it.

Hi does that mean a new element? Thanks

could be heater faulty ( machine will have max waiting period to get hot of 2hrs then will move on) If heater ok (should be about 25 to 35 ohms resistance) then may be control unit not turning it on cheers
