GALLANT 6000 security alarm?

Our new house has the above security system fitted,our problem we are having is when we move past the halway and kitchen and garage sensors, the alarm makes a loud door bell sound.My question is how can we stop or quieten it ,its annoying the dog thanks.

Not sure if you can reduce the volume,but if my memory serves me correctly, you can disable the chime function by,

1 punch in your user code

2 press 9 (chime)

3 press the * key

Not sure if your user code will allow you in,you may need to use the master code.

I think this is how to operate Chime on your panel

To program a zone to Chime:
1. Enter User Code.
2. Press 9/Chime.
3. Enter zone number for Chime.
4. Press Ö to finish or wait for confirmation beep.

To disable the Chime on all zones enter User Code, press 9 then Ö. The Chime function cannot be disabled on individual zones
