Renault Clio (96) Overheating Help !!!? ?

I have the same problem as another member on this site with my Clio overheating, have checked surjested problems but problem still persists how hard is it to change a water pump & my fan is not working, well I don't think it's working as engine gets hot & it still won't kick in, so I have (1) new thermostat (2) bled radeator, checked no water in oil, so where would be best to go now ???? Please help me thanks

If its not presurising check the cap or just replace it if it not sealing the water will boil,

If your Fan is not starting, when engine is getting hot? It's not in the water system, it's in the electrics. It could be a blown fuse or a loose connection. Beware of putting your hands near the fan, if the engine is warm, because fans are now electric and can run even when the engine is turned off. Not run on a Fan Belt. 99/100 it's a fuse or a loose lead. Good Luck.

if it just gets hot in traffic then your problem may just be the fan not working, why do you want to renew the water pump?is it leaking?have a look in the expansion tank and give the motor a rev and you should see water circulating which would suggest the pump is ok.if you don`t have any leaks and your system isn`t pressurising then I would suggest getting your fan working first and take it from there.Would check the fuse first.
