Focus central locking fuse?

Ford Focus Zetec 1.8 3 door, 1999, 108,000 miles
Suspecting a central locking fault to be the cause of my electrical fault, I want to disable the central locking. I understand the fuse to be behind the fusebox which is behind the glovebox, The fusebox seams to be bolted to a bracket, how do I safely remove it to remove the fuse.
