Delonghi DEM10, no fan, no compressor - kaput?

Hello, I have a 3 year old DEM10, unlike some other posters I have no fan or compressor when plugged-in (since last week).
Could it still be the capacitor? or would it be something more serious?

Hi our Dehumidifier is the same, fan not working. But power is getting the lights on the control. Did the lights on yours work? Will try the PCB .

Provided you feel confident/competant enough to dismantle the case (it is easy) there is a supply fuse on the PCB which is the 1st thing before anything can get a supply. The fuse is a T6.3AL (6.3A semi-delay/slow-blow). This may have blown before the normal plug fuse?

if no power is getting to the fan and compressor you need to trace the break in supply, most likely the PCB
