how do i install a cd player into my fiesta?

How do i replace the old casette player (fitted at Ford, model 3000) in the car, and fit my new cd player (Sony cdx-s2000)? The car is an 'R' reg fiesta Zetec.

You need a multi meter to check which of the existing car wire are positive, ground and speaker wiring. ( multi meter very easy to use - don't be afraid ). Pull out the existing radio... its held in by clips on the side....if you stick some coat hanger wire down the holes in the front of the radio it will release it. Cut the existing electrical connector off and splice on the new one as per the cd player wiring diagram.....wires will be marked.
If all this sounds daunting, get a friend who knows a bit about wiring!
