Hi Rob,
Sometimes you can ease the thread back into the weave by gently working from the edge of the pull back towards the loop. However this will not usually get rid of the loop completely and the best solution is to use a needle to take the loop to the back of the fabric.
Do not cut the loop off as this will leave a hole!
