Starts cycle fills bottom of washer the sets alarm of turn power on and off and pump starts up clearing water from bottom

Anytime you interrupt a cycle & turn power off it will drain the water for about 60 secs. The U1 fault means it cannot see the water level rising when filling. To do this the wash motor must be running while it fills. If motor is not running that is your problem & need to find out why. If it is just a hummimg noise try a new start capacitor.
