how do i remove the plastic paddle lifter from my washing machine?

there ia a screw stuck in the drum of my zanussi 1262 w machine and i need someone to tell me how to remove the paddle lifter inside.thanks

back off.element out is the way to get under the stainless inner drum to retrieve object however screws tend to jam down the front of the tub unless you have seen it through holes using a torch???
