Removing the outer case on a microwave is not recommended for non technicians, dangerous (lethal) voltages can still exist in the high voltage (4000) circuitry months after disconnection from the mains. The easy way to open the door is to take a thin bladed device like a paint scraper, or pallet knife, slide it up between the door and microwave main boddy in the area the latches are, and just like breaking into a car, the blade should slip up the cavity face and lift the door latch. if in doubt contact me through microwave-repairs.co.uk and i will talk you through it.
