why doesnt my washer dryer dry clothes?

I have a wdd960 hotpoint washer dryer that washes the clothes fine, waters hot, but when i put the cycle on to dry the cycle is conplete does not get hot and xlothes and not dry, what wrong, and how do i fix it?

most likely you have thermostat failure on the drying system,if not it is the heating element, if you are in the habit of switching off the dryer before it has run its cycle you will get stat failure as the last ten minutes is dedicated to cooling down
