hi i have a drayton rf1 stat the problem i have is i set the stat to 20 say and the stat changes to a higher temp making the heating come on itself please help

Just using the + and - buttons only temporarily adjusts the temperature, then it goes back to programmed settings on the next switchover - google the instructions (mine came up really easily, I have rf3) and follow the instructions for setting the temperature/time profile(s) and then you won't need to adjust, and if you do it'll go back to your setting.
