poor flame on my gas hob cannon cambridge double oven ?

my main burner on my gas hob has a very poor flame eg:very small flame instead of a good high flame as if it were turned down to low setting.any help Please.

Lift off the heavy circle plate thing. Get a paper clip and straighten it out. Place the end of the paper clip into the small hole in the centre of the burner and wiggle it about a bit. Then try again. This cures it every time on my Cannon Cambridge.
