potterton neatheat MKII 10-16?

I have a potterton neatheat MKII 10-16 boiler,
sometimes when it starts up, the ignision spark will not perform, therfore not lighting the gas.
Sometimes it does work and the boiler runs perfectly.
I can be sat there turning it on and off for over an hour before it works.
is there anything i can do?
