Neff W5320X0GB Washer, won't start?

Neff W5320X0GB Washer, won't start. The m/c sounds like a couple of solenoids are clicking in around the rear of the m/c but then the drain pump starts up and runs for a couple of mins even though there's no water in the drum then it stops and that's it. I think it would fill and run but it's like the m/c thinks it's full of water and so tries to drain first. the powder is still dry, the door lock is working ok. Machine is 5 years old and hasn't skipped a beat til now. Cheers.

Had a look myself it seems there is a sump plate with a sensor on it to detect leaks, by the state of the water collected in it i guess it's gathered over time to the point where it thinks somethings split or burst and so i think this somehow activates the drain pump! I have soaked up the channels containing the water and it's game on, result. Just looking for a potential leak now fingers crossed.
