My room stat is not talking to my boiler so no centeral heating?

My room stat make/model Siemens RDJ10RF/SET-GB isnt sending a signal to the boiler it starts the heating up for about 2 minutes and then shuts it down I've changed the batteries and reset it but still not working, any ideas please would be a big help, thanks.
Sounds like it is sending signal as it fires up,check the reciever unit,is the green light on? if yes then signal has been received and fault could lie with boiler ie low pressure,pump stuck etc
