after all cycles i have alot of water in the bottom is the pump that is not working or is there something else that could stop water from draining away

all dishwashers and washing machines leave at least two pints of water in the sump,but this is normaly fresh water ,this is the way they work

Sometimes food debris lemon pips and crud creep past the filters and get into the drain pump impeller making it stall.

It's right at the very bottom of the sump underneath a cover - one torx screw holds down the cover - tweezers will help remove any debris.

The impeller should spin freely but with a bit of magnetic resistance.

A five minute job that costs nothing.
