Hob Igniters?

I have a brand new NEFF hob and have difficulty lighting it every time I use it on all 4 burners. I seem to have to hold it down while it is clicking for a very long time and even then it sometimes goes out as soon as I release it. Any ideas?

press the ignitor so it is clicking then slowly turn the gas tap on.hold tap 3 seconds whilst lit then turn to full.If this fails call servicing
