my key is worn and need to get new one cut if i prize the 3 button immobilzer/remote central peice away and get a new one cut and fit the new key back together with the immobilzer/remote cenral peice would this be abale to start the car still ?

hi graham im not sure but i think you might be able to get a key cut so you can take your remote fob and use it streight onto the new key but you should be able to just get a key cut as normal aswell i would ring ford up just to inquire about it first it doesent mean you have to get it from them if not goto key cutting place and just ask if they do one were you can just exchange the keyfob hope this helps you out
