how to fix number plate lights ?

My puegoet 206 has a faults on number plate lights one works and other pasinger one only comes on when I use central locking it flashes with indlcators ?

you have a s/c in the light unit,prob water penetration,check for rust,you may have to replace the number plate light fittings
