Is there a special way or amount of oil to use when you are going to oil a #9005 singer sewing machine. What kind of oil do you use? 3-1 oil okay??

There is nothing to stop you using 3-in-1 oil but you will be making a mistake if you do - sewing machines need a very light oil that you can get from a sewing shop.

There are several videos on YouTube that show how to maintain sewing machines.
