wrong wiring?

An electrolytic capacitor poping tend to spray it's electrolyte around. It can cause several shorts, that can in tun damage or destroy other components, not to mention that it's slightly corosive...

Just trouble shooting could cost more than a new unit, as you'll need to ask a thecnician who have access to the needed diagnostic equipment, and know how to use it.

Check the price of a new main board and a new unit.
If you can get a cheap, and working, main board, you may replace it yourself. Otherwise, just get a new one and send this one to a recycling plant.

thanks so do you think it is not worth repairing

I would guess plus and minus got swapped around - I would guess the "pop" to be a component destroying itself - very likely an electrolytic capacitor - the other components will have died silently except for any resistors - they will be perfectly fine.

But all this is just a guess.
