Fuses are always Inline - like switches.
If the motor is not working and getting warm then it's seized up for some reason (not working) and drawing current (getting warm). And if it's drawing current then any fuse that may be in the circuit will be intact else current will not flow and it would not get warm.
It is difficult for me to understand the purpose of your question.
Let Us hope that Lincoln Appliance in NZ see this entry and offer a definitive answer.
