I have read all these comments but noted I don't seem to have the same problem. My machine is in working order and filling with water, but I have a noticed a loud whirring noise when working. I'm wondering how long it will be until it decides to give up on me. Any Ideas???

No answer to how long but it usually is the ceramic rings binding causing high pitched noise whilst washing.you can get an impeller kit but usually ends up as a new circulation pump motor which is 55% of the cost of a new dishwasher
