The orange wire for the airbag warning light has been cut, can it be repaired/relaced easily by a qualified mechanic and any idea of cost please ?

it will depend where it has been cut and if it is accessible or not,but on no account try repairing this until the battery has been disconnected for half an hour.As for cost,it will depend on how long it takes and may also require a code reader scan to delete your fault so shop around.
