My boiler programmer has died!?

After a power cut my Potterton EP3001 programmer is dead!
There is power to the unit but no display or any functions are working, any ideas?

Fixed it myself!
Took the battery pack out of the back of the controller, re-fitted it and it has come back to life, probably totally breaking the circuit has done the trick!
Fingers crossed!
