My DVD recorder adds a green tint to recordings?

I have a Magnavox MRV660 DVD recorder and it adds a green tint to the image when viewing the VCR or DVD original (as well as the TV image) and adds it to the DVD recorded disk. Any ideas why and how to fix it?
