Hi all. I have had a ferroli falcon combi boiler for about four years and it was only serviced last year. this morning I got up for work and went to put the heating on as it was cold. The boiler made a whirring noise and the red light immediately came on so I reset the boiler and tried again but no joy. I thought it might have been the fan or something jammed in the pump so I took the cover off reset it again and found out the noise was actually coming from the ignition. not knowing anything about it am looking to see if there's a quick fix or if its naffed. my local engineers don't like ferroli and one said scrap it and get a baxi :( help plzz
