This video camera has a mini DV (main video recording) and SD video and stills recording facilities.
Long story to go in to why I did the following.

Can the orientation of a side taken video be changed to vertical. I want to add it to various short clips I am doing for DVD.

The only way I though of was to put in on a DVD then orient camera horizontal on tripod then record the view from TV screen/PC which in theory the taken video would then be vertical but thought there may be another easier way.
