RDJ10RF - tried the reset procedure. Have a solid green light. Works in a morning to turn heating on 'preset 1' turn off 'preset 2' then I use 'comfort setting if I need it before it switches on in the evening. Put it back to auto after 'preset 3' all ok - Then the dam thing just turns off anywhere between 6.30pm and 9pm. I can't seem to do anything with the transmitter no heating unless I use the 'override' button on receiver every half hour or so. Next morning switches on at 'preset 1' and we start all over again! Any idea why I'm having this problem only in the evening?

Hours spent on trying to get it to work, a tap it with the wrench a couple of times and it fires up instantly. Thank fook for that !!! Nice one guys

update on the previous post....

This was happening at my Mum's house after a new boiler and thermostat was fitted. She was calling me nearly every night saying the heating had turned off yet again. When I went to see the following day all was ok. I reset and resynced several times but she still said it wasn't working in the evening. In the end I went round when she called to say it was off again. When I arrived all I found was the room had reached the 'comfort' set temp so had turned off! Because the radiator was going cold she thought the boiler wasn't working and because she wasn't getting the radiated heat from the radiator she was feeling the chill. I raised the set comfort temp higher and hey presto no further phone calls. This problem sorted with a bit of education!!!
