Defrosting, not!?

My Beko CDA538 is not automaticly defrosting & the back plate has started to build up with ice, whats causing this?

it is only the freezer that auto defrosts so if the back of the fridge is iced up you have an issue.could be lack of gas,blockage,air leak,faulty compressor,sensor or pcb.without some knowledge and test kit you might be struggling
