I bought a new Avesis,D-2D in 2009, the car has done only 14480 miles, when it broke down, white smoke poured out of the exhaust, and all the dashboard lights started flashing, and the car spluttered to a stop. the garage, said that I had put in faulty fuel, but that was untrue, as I had the receipt, which said that I had put in regular diesel. They charged me with pumping out the fuel, but the car still wouldn'y start. they then said, that the car now required new injectors, and charged me £401 for each one.It seems that the once reliable Toyota, isn't quite as reliable, as we are lead to believe, when you look at all the recalls.
