Hi everyone, had same problem as many other people with a Hotpoint FF200E. Fridge not cooling, light on and freezer working.
I followed what all the others who managed to solve the problem did. I dismantled the first panel inside the freezer, then the second panel, melted away the massive block of ice, reassembled panels, turned it on, got the flashing lights, turned dials off, then the switch off at the wall, then on again, then dials on, no more flashing lights. I could hear fridge turning on and motor going and then after a minute all silence. Light was on (not flashing though) but neither fridge nor freezer seemed to work. After 10 mins of silence motor went on again. Freezer working, light on. But fridge still not cooling. Ideas? Please help!!!
