The filter turns anti clockwise freely but won't come out. It has come out previously. can iy be got at from inside?

Try leaning the machine back against the wall at 45` angle then turn filter back and forth repeatedly. At this angle the debris may fall to the back and allow it to open. If not you will have to remove the pump, if you dont have a base in the machine you can drop it out through the bottom, if you do have a base you will have to take the front of the machine off.
