Hello so if I attempt to fix this as Dave mentioned then my next question is will I need to unscrew this small screw in order to gain access to the battery compartment for changing when needed? I love this camera as my husband got it for me as a gift and it is my first real camera owned let alone being digital. It takes amazing pics and I miss it terribly. Thank you in advance for you time and also for your helpful suggestions I may have to try this b/c I really want it fixed asap!
