How can i fix my headlights?

I have a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 and only one of my headlights are working. I have already replaced the bulb in the one thats not working but its still not working where do I go from here.

check fuse, and bad wire connection(rusty or contaminated) or earth connection to light.Wiggle wires next to light is the easyest way doing this.
